We saw quite a few small herds of wildebeest, usually grazing with the impala -- adding more eyes and ears to watch for danger.

Giraffe were all over the place, moving placidly along, nibbling on treetop leaves. Their gait is slow, but with such long legs they move deceptively fast. They were completely comfortable around our vehicles.
